Phases discussed during Pre-Sale

  • Phase 1: Very important to get them implemented in a timely manner.  They’re willing to invest whatever resources are needed.     Currently using Roadnet and are simply swapping with Appian.  Will need some slight integration modifications to allow import/export of data.

Immediate integration will be: ERP>>Appian>>ERP>>Truckmate

  • Phase 2: Adding Truckmate’s MultiMode/CityDispatch and will want to take advantage of the integration between Appian and Truckmate (this will likely be after their Peak Season (Jan – Jun)

Notes from Sales Cycle:

I’ve provided their routing definitions, as well as sample file format.  Mitch is a good resource to lean on for any potential confusion, but they go through a splitting exercise (which DR is capable of handling) where they will need to rename the split order (to avoid it appearing as a duplicate).  We showed     them this process in detail.     Other than that, it is fairly straightforward.  Integration adjustments to enable proper file structure (headers, etc.) should take place sooner than later to avoid delays given we’re onsite during week of Jan 21.

Per attachments:

All of the file movements are done in this order:

1.        EXPORT is the file from YPF to ROADNET.

2.        IMPORT is the file from ROADNET back to YPF.

3.        TM is the file from YPF to TRUCKMATE.

4.        MAS is the file from TRUCKMATE back to YPF.

Also, make sure they understand Route number and sequence number and stop number has to be provided by our systems back to YPF system or the puller reports will not generate.
